The Rees-Williams Award is established to celebrate the contributions of President Ali Rees, and Coaching Director Arthur Williams; awarded to 1 junior boy and girl and 1 senior boy and girl per year that demonstrate the core values and legacy of the club.
2024

Strategic Adjustment
The club had 26 teams and 234 players. A strategic decision was made to limit training to Thursdays, capping maximum capacity at 24 teams and 216 players for sustainability and stronger cohesion.
2023

Peak Growth
The club retained 25 teams with 217 players, achieving its highest recorded membership.
2022

Significant Expansion
The club grew to 19 teams and 152 players, marking a major step forward in membership growth.
2021

New Coaching Director
Arthur Williams joins Beenleigh Blitz to strengthen the coaching and players, and restore Beenleigh Blitz to its former glory.
2020

Covid Impacts the world
The club fielded 9 teams with 65 players. The season concluded quickly due to COVID, and the Winter season was shortened with fewer games. Numbers remained stagnant.
2019

New Leadership is elected
Ali Rees was voted in as Club President during a difficult period when the club had experienced a sudden drop in numbers the previous winter. The focus shifted to rebuilding and stabilising.
